Calorie differences in the same food Mexico/USA

So, I'm from the United States and I live in Mexico, teaching English. A lot of foods here are imported straight from the US, and they simply stick a Spanish nutrition label over the original label. I was trying to track some light alfredo pasta sauce (Classico light creamy alfredo). The label said it was something like 80 calories for 60g (1/4 cup). I kept seeing it as 45cal here on myfitnesspal. So, curious, I managed to carefully peel away the Spanish nutrition label to see the English one underneath. The English one listed it as 45 cal for 60g! Does anyone have any idea why they are so different? I know that different countries have different nutrition labeling requirements, but you'd think that the calories would stay the same! And I know it's not the kilojules (which Mexican labels do list), because that was a separate number that was much higher.
