kefir in coffee?

To set up the picture . . . my husband makes me protein shakes in the a.m. about 3 times a week. I use almond milk in coffee, he uses skim milk. I picked up a bottle of plain kefir for the first time last week & it was in the fridge. This morning he made my coffee using the kefir instead of almond milk, thinking since it was in a bottle, I was using it in my coffee. We got a big laugh out of that one.
