Hi,

I was wondering if somebody knew the calories to: Indian Takeaway Chicken Tikka Kebab (Chargrilled) on plain Naan with salad with chilli and yoghurt sauce.

I know it's not great but have no idea what I'm actually eating.

Thanks,
Lee

Look it up in the database. Look at a few entries for chicken tikka and pick what seems reasonable (sometimes there is one entry with ridiculously low or high calories, throw out the outliers). Same with the naan.

Yep cheers already did that but one says 1200 calories and other lower level at 290. I'm really unsure but guessing 700 cals?

I am guessing chicken tikka kebab (not chicken tikka masala, which is in a sauce and higher calories) would be minimal calories. It is usually chicken breast, smeared with a marinade of yogurt and spices. The entry in the database for "Morrisons - Chicken Tikka Kebab" at 136 calories per kebab sounds reasonable. Naan is usually made with ghee, so that will be the bigger calorie bomb. The entry "Indian - Plain Naan" at 230 calories or "Trader Joes - Tandoori Naan" at 180 calories is in the right ballpark. I always err on the safe side and use the higher calorie estimate. Your salad is a wild card, estimate how much yogurt sauce you used and find a creamy dressing equivalent in the database. I am guessing it was more like a 500 calorie meal, depending on number of kebabs eaten and amount of dressing used.
