Injury- where exactly did I hurt myself?

Sadly, I was lifting a 15 pound weight off a hockey table to start my workout Tuesday, and I pulled something- it's right above my glute on the left side, but I wouldn't really say it's my back. It hurts when I move the wrong way, or sit down and stand up. The only exercise I can do right now is walk, and even that is painful if I move the wrong way.
So is this a back strain, or what? It basically hurts right at the top of where a jeans back pocket would be. Any idea how long I'll be benched for ? I'm sad.
