body fat % - online calcs are too general

according to most body fat calculators, i'm at 30.5% body fat. that didn't seem right to me - i haven't got much in the way of lean muscle.

came in at about what i suspected - 40% - but since i do want to know, next week i'm going to get a hydrostatic measurement done.
btw, i found a truck that travels the country, doing the tests at various gyms and spas, and that's what i'll be using. they seem very well liked. not affiliated - i found them on yelp - but maybe worth knowing about for some as their price is much lower than other sources.
