Questions to ask Personal Trainer for 1st BB comp?

Greeting Everyone,

I drank the kool aid and decided to move from gym rat to true blue bodybuilder. As in, actually taking part in my first competition. I have 10 weeks to prepare. I have a meeting later today with a personal trainer who has a rather impressive personal BB record and from a few of the BBs I know, an excellent reputation.

With that said, I've listed a number of questions I plan on posing towards him. Would appreciate anyone who has done this or thought of doing it, to peruse them and provide input/additions.

Also, anyone that has taken the plunge and competited or plans too, I'd love to hook up with you and have you as a resource. Pls PM me.

Besides the questions, I'm also taking in 90 days of data pulled off the myfitnesspal reports regarding weight/cal/MACROs.

Here are my questions I was thinking of asking him:

What body parts do I need to focus on?
What is my glide pattern for hitting 4%BF on Aug 30?
Could I actually get a body fat measurement?
What should my MACROS be?
Protein
Carbs
Fats
Sodium
Sugar

How often should I be eating?
How much cardio?
What body splits to do?
Reps/Sets Range?

What are the different division/federations I can go into?
It appears I'd qualify for 3 of them: Novice, Masters and either Class 3 or Class 2. I think I'm right at 5'8 (1.72M)
Best way to learn Posing?
How far in advance do I need to get posing down?
What resources I can use to prepare? CDs, books, people?
How to get routine choreographed?
Tanning/oils?
When to shave, what to shave?
Where to buy posing suit?

I'm currently on a 3 day on, 1 day off split routine. Day 1: Back/Arms/Abs Day 2: Legs/including calves Day 3: Chest/Shoulders, Abs.

Thanks for taking the time to read and hopefully provide input.
TC

Most competitions will have professional spray tan/hair/makeup people there who will do your spray tan and oil for you, but you need to make sure you book well in advance because especially at bigger shows they may run out of time slots.

When I prepped for a photo shoot, my training/nutrition coach gave me a template of what to eat, in what proportions, and when, the entire time, as well as a training regimen, which of course was modified as I progressed.

Ask if you should or shouldn't self pleasure before the comp - it could ease nerves but lower your manly levels. What's the balance, man?

    Thanks for the insights.

Never been spray painted before...so agree, will be good to have a pro do it.

LazSommer...Arnold had a bit to say about this didn't he?
