I've never tried it, but I've heard that it has a lot of health benefits. Just wondering if anyone uses it? Also, HOW do you use it? lol Not even sure what you put this stuff in (on?).

I put a tablespoon in my protein shakes.
  • I need to pick some up. I like it in oatmeal, on cereal, and on Breyers vanilla ice cream drizzled with some honey.

I will sprinkle 1 tbsp on yogurt & fruit, or cottage cheese. Gives it more texture

I think wheat germ is the PERFECT food! I started eating it when I was prego and all 3 of my children were SUPER amazingly healthy! I put some (like a tablespoon) in my smoothies, in my kids' smoothies, in oatmeal, on cereal, in yogurt. I use it when I bake... Its a huge winner. Its like sprinkling extra good health on your food. There's toasted wheat germ which tastes kind of mellow and nutty, and then there's raw, which is sort of bitter. You want the toasted - Kreschmers. If you want raw, you'll have to seek it out at a health fod store. Very Very very good for you! I love it!

    I love it on cereal..
  • I have a jar of it in my house and have put it in things when cooking even just to add a little bit of heft to something, like rice, or extra texture. Now that I am seeing all your posts I think I shall need to get another jar to keep in my desk at work to add to my cereal or oats in the morning. yum. I love adding flax seed to stuff too, especially my oatmeal. I like the added flavor and texture it gives. yummy
