Make Friday your favorite day...

In the 90's I had a weight-lifting coach that gave me some good advice I still use to this day. He said: "Make Friday your favorite day at the Gym." His point was, Friday is an easy day to skip: the weekend is coming up, kids have stuff going on, you have stuff going on, everybody wants to relax, you are more likely to eat out etc.- come up with any reason you want. Fridays are the easiest day to skip or come up with an excuse not to work out.
His philosophy was, if you make Friday your favorite workout, you will be more likely to hit the gym. For me, its my Arm & Shoulders day. I always feel good after an arm workout- and its also the easiest place to see gains. There are certain exercises I enjoy more than others, but I love working my arms. That was almost 20 years ago and I still hear him in my head every Friday morning- "Make Friday your Favorite day- and spend your whole weekend looking better."

on fridays i do curls for the gurls, shoulders to make em like boulders and back so some random will show me their rack.

I make Friday leg days because it is such a challenge to go out afterwards when your legs are sore.0

I'm scheduling leg day for fridays so I can walk normally again by monday lol. You have a good point though.0
