A little friday conundrum just for fun....
Consider:
2 men give £100 to charity.
One is a wealthy man who makes his donation quietly, not telling any of his friends.
The other is a poor man on benefits who has to save for a month in order to make his donation. Afterwards he brags to his friends so that they can all see what a fine fellow he is.
Which (if either) is the more altruistic act?

Neither is particularly altruistic, in my opinion. Giving money has nothing to do with an individual reaching his/her authentic self.0
