I'm looking for some good stretches for the back thigh muscles. Mine get so tight at times it hurts to touch my toes or squat. I also struggle with reaching behind me to stretch my leg back - I have to hold on to something and kick my leg out a little to the side on order to grab my ankle. I'm the only person in my dance class that has to do it this way and it's so embarrassing.

Lay on the floor on your back, have one leg straight out on the floor bring the other straight up towards you if you can grab the calf and pull more towards you. If you have the rubber bands you can put that on your foot to pull the leg forward. Also while laying on your back bring one leg ulp at a 90 degree angle and cross the other foot over put it right below your knee pull the leg that is at a 90 degree angle towards you pushing on the other knee if you can. Its hard to describe but hopefully you get the jest of it.0

Maybe now that's it's later at night and ppl have had time to think and relax they will have more and better ideas to help you reach your toe touching, reaching behind, and thigh stretching goals?

Lol... Thanks ... And I just changed it a couple of minutes agoa reference to a Dr. Oz show I saw not long ago about the link between obesity and heart size...
Yes it sucks having tight muscles. It makes exercise so much more difficult, even just walking.0 -
