Fellow Gravity Testers?

Just looking for a bit of advice and wondered if any other gravity testers (aka klutzes) could help me out.
I have 'weak' ankles to where walking is sometimes a challenge because they roll--but this past weekend's test was totally the fault of shoddy sidewalks.
As I often test out Newton's Law and Einstein's Theory and end up on the walking, limping, or using assistive devices wounded list I wondered if anyone out there has any helpful hints
