Paleo Party

Hey Peop's,
I'm new to Paleo and need some friends to help encourage me to keep going with it. So far, I haven't completely cut out tubers, as I love sweet potatoes and I still use a tiny amount of cheese in my cooking, but nobody is perfect and some of the books say you can still eat those things while others say to completely avoid them. Anyways, as I get older I am realizing that I no longer want to be a skinny-mini. I am actually interested in what my body can do for me. I am 31 and I want the energy and strength to run marathons or at least carry my own luggage when I travel. I want to convert around 20 pounds of fat to lean out. In addition to my elliptical/treadmill routine I enjoy hiking and the outdoors, yoga on the beach, and swimming in the ocean. Im looking for peppy friends who are also interested in Paleo, or just nice people who can support my goals. Anyone out there love cross-fit- bikkram, or kettle bell workouts? Care to share?

Hey hey! I highly recommend a Paleo Support Group. Posting on the general thread just typically results in a big debate and snarky comments about how Paleo is awful

Best of luck to you - I eat a modified Paleo-diet myself and enjoy the results and energy it gives me.0
