For those of you that are not "trying" to do low carb, what are you averaging for your daily carb intake?

  • I am not doing low carb and I am having success in weight loss. I average about 100. According to my profile my daily goal is 106.

I am not "trying" to do low carb, but I am limiting the amount of processed carbs (processed flour, sugar & sugar substitutes). My average is 100-120 a day.

I just looked and I have been eating around 170 - 200 carbs a day. Obviously, I do not watch them at all. But am always under my goal, so that's good.

Just make sure you are eating good carbs. I am focusing on my sodium, protien, and fiber right now.

Carbs, carbs and more carbs. Carbs are not the enemy. You do need some. I stagger my carbs eating more in the morning and less as the day goes on. Plus I eat only complex carbs. Whole Grains, Fruits and Veggies. I don't eat fruit after 2pm and no dry carbs after 4 pm. I usually eat between 100-150 carbs a day.

I averaged 200-250 a day through my weight loss and never had any issues. I only ate good carbs and was always under my calorie goal of 2000 calories a day. I eat very little fat so a few extra carbs hasn't affected my weight loss since I am suppose to have 200 grams a day of carbs.
