1 month and some of exercise

I do exercise on the stationary bike at the gym at work on my breaks 4-5.5 miles 5 days a week 12-17 mph about 25-30 mins a day w/ some resistance.
I haven't lost anything on the scale and I don't see any loss on my body but haven't gained anymore either . I do feel a little stronger though. I'm slowly changing my diet but I thought I should start with exercise first and then work on the diet gradually since that is the harder of the two to stick with for me at least. I am however finding it hard to stay encouraged when the only thing I'm noticing is that I am able to do more mileage in the same amount time as when I started.

I'm going to be honest here, health is not the top reason I am exercising and stuff.... it's beauty, I know I know... but I'm being honest. beauty is first and health is second. It's nice feeling my legs be stronger and my knees not hurting anymore and i'm not getting as winded when sprinting around but I wanna see some body changes.

Honestly, it just takes time. My cousin also began working out more right about when I joined MFP and he said something to me that stuck - I'm sure he got it from somewhere: 'It takes 4 weeks for you to notice your body changing, 8 weeks for your friends/family to notice, and 12 weeks for anyone else to notice' --- you are already noticing changes in your body and the visible ones will come with some more time. There's no 'quick fix'....and I was frustrated at first too. But if you stick with it, I promise it will feel amazing when you get compliments, it just takes a bit longer than we'd like!
