trying to decide if i am lightly active or sedentary based off mfp settings...I have a sit down job and workout 4-5 times a week but nothing hardcore. if i set myself to sedentary, do i eat back exercise calories? or....if i set myself to lightly active, i don't eat those back correct?

You can start with sedentary, logging all exercise, and see how that works for you. If you lose very quickly or feel super hungry, you might bump it up to lightly active and continue to log exercise separately. Since workouts vary from day to day, I like to always log my exercise separately from my regular daily activities (work, house upkeep, etc.)0

Thanks for your reply. I've been on here for almost 2 yrs but just wondering if what Mfp suggests works for some. I only log my workouts that are in the gym or at when I do workouts at home..Nothing else.0
