Hello,
First post. In February, I had an ATV accident and pinched my C7 nerve which runs from the neck, into the back and finally down the right arm. With this nerve damage, it has caused Muscle Wasting in my right tricep and my right pectoral. I am currently working in Afghanistan with no real access to a dr. so I was wondering if anyone has experienced the same type of symptoms(muscle wasting) and what type of rehab or excercises they performed to bring the muscles back up to par.
Thank you in advance for any insight you may offer

Nerves signal the muscle to contract and relax. If the signal is disrupted, there's really not much you can do for atrophy. I'm not trying to discourage you, but a quadraplegic's legs atrophy due to lack of use. Even if someone physically worked on their legs (bending, stretching, etc.) for them, there wouldn't be any significant muscle response.
Hopefully the damage may only be temporary and you can resume. I wish you the best.

Ok cool, thanks for the response. The numbness has gone away significantly and I have started doing some light weights again, hoping to at least feel some strengthening. When it first occured, I was not able to do any push up, but I can do about 12 - 15 now, so that is a good sign. BTW im 44, so it could be taking longer to heal0
