Hi all, I've been a member of myfitnesspal for a week now and I've lost 3lb and I'm loving it. I have a friends wedding in 13 weeks and I would really like to lose a good amount of weight and wear something I can feel nice in. I particularly hate my arms. Does anyone have any tips to maximise weight loss in that time? Not to an unhealthy amount but just any little boosters? Also how can I make the best difference to my arms?

The best way is to eat well at your recommended intake. I don't have any special tricks except log everything (weigh & measure) everything you eat/ drink to be sure you are getting what you think you are. Exercise is also great & I find I feel so much better although technically it is not required to lose weight. Incorporating some weights can help also.
Obviously it depends hugely on your starting & goals weights but if you want to lose ~55lbs, 1 -1.5 per week is doable.
Be realistic- you cannot lose it all, but can certainly make a great start
I have been amazed that I have lost 11kg in 13weeks (aiming for 30-35kg total loss). I didn't think I would lose that fast and have now upped my calories as I must be burning more than estimated. (My doctor had agreed with what I was eating at the time)
Keep at it and you will see results
