Hey
I'm sky , 20 years old , been stuck with an eating disorder for a year , I can't get a professional help or tell any one about it , nobody here knows what an " eating disorder " even means , I starve /binge / purge , it's more like an addiction now but i stopped purging lately ( it was really hard to do it on my own ) and gained a massive amount of weight , I now have a BMI of 26 , which is over weight , I can't get the idea of starving again out of my head , but I can't imagin going back to that empty cycle again .
You all here seem like you're on your way to fitness and health , and I really wanna be like that , but I couldn't do it alone . Stopping the purging is already a big trigger to fall again , so please help .

Hey there.im glad you are reaching out.
and people EVERYWHERE know what an eating disorder is. You will be surprised if you reach out for help. Have you spoken with a professional? There's also the national eating disorders association. Never go through this alone. To get through this you need support. You are taking a great step in a healthy direction reaching out here looking to keep healthy and pull out of that dreadful never ending cycle! There are also support groups I believe. Including over eaters anonymous which you can go tomorrow support with binge eating. The nationaleatingdisorders.org if you go on that and search for support groups. And if you call them they should help you locate a doctor who will 'know' what an eating disorder means. I hate to hear you are struggling, but just forget weight for as long as you can. Try and just block it out. No pressure to lose any weight by you or your thoughts. Now, just jump into health. Find out how many fruits and veggies to have in a day. What each are good for. Drink water with 3 tbsp lime juice in it or a real lime squeezed in it. Read the health benefits of that. It will also keep you in times of feeling like overeating, from doing that as much. Just grab your water and drink. Have another water with lemon. These have added health qualities. And you can read about them. Great for your skin! Start juicing! Make a juice for breakfast! Getting all the fruits and veggies you need it helps improve your mood. Some help you sleep at night, too. Bananas can cool you down on a hot day. They lower your body temp a bit. That small bit is pretty cool, right? We are what we eat. We put in processed food, foods loaded with unhealthy fats and added sugars... They don't help us. They really have no good qualities. They leave us craving more. Sugar can be addicting. These foods don't fill us and leave us craving more. ... Read about all of these - about what proteins you should eat more of and why they are important. It's all rather interesting. Search away in your free time on your computer - it will keep you from getting restless and help pull you out of a binge moment. Just be mindful. And if your binge happens, let the binge happen. The purging needs to stop. It's not only deadly will steal your teeth destroy your esophagus and cause embarrassing stomach and bathroom problems among other things, but it keeps the cycle going. Bingeing and owing it, that helps stop it when it happens. Realize it happened and don't think I'll starve myself the next day or get all worked up about it - it will take time but know that you can move past this and by not overly focusing on it it will be easier. Guilt does not help, does it? The thought of starving yourself or getting all upset about a binge will most likely lead to another binge. Try talking it out. Check out that site or find someone you TRUST to talk to about your feelings who won't lead you astray. The starving almost always leads to bingeing. And that in many cases leads to purging. It all leads to guilt. And starving yourself isn't the best way to lose weight. We are all pretty impatient and want major change ASAP but waiting will make changes happen. Patience brings about change. So learn patience. Keep a diary of your progress which I suppose is this site, but also a real journal with your feelings. Get all your feelings out daily as they come up. So that way you don't emotionally eat. And as you start eating healthier and exercising I bet your entries show a happier twinge to them :0) keep active and busy. Just don't let weight enter your mind. See if through eating healthy and correctly and with the correct amounts of each group, you don't notice a drop in your weight. I bet you will. And even if not you'll be feeling great eating healthy the weight will follow in time. Sorry I rambled. It's late and I have had friends struggling the same so I have a big window into what you're struggling with. I've seen many aspects of this disorder and let me tell you that you are one strong person! Message me if I can be of any assistance! 0 -

Thanks. :0) I hope you find yourself a support system. That's important to pull yourself out of the cycle. It's important for your health to find someone to talk to and who can help set you back on track. That extra guidance is so important, don't let anything hold you back. It's your health! If there is anything else I can do, let me know. Come on here in the support forums and talk about how you are doing with eating right and exercising. Find support here. Gyms are a great place to workout and make a workout friend. Or even just to ask questions on how to do he equipment and make sure you are doing it right. Squeeze in a question to them of how do you keep your work outs interesting? Do you change them up? Tell the person you are just starting out. Become friendly and listen to their advice. Make getting in shape fun. Make eating right fun. Enjoy everyday of getting control over your health from here on out. :0)0

Forgot this: there is this article read online about this young woman who is dealing with her own eating disorder. She turned her 'getting healthy' methods into something that is quite amazing. This woman is a teen who is overcoming her eating disorder and creating a fun Instagram account as well. You can see what she does to get over her bad relationship with food. She makes it fun. Plus, she's gained like 100000 followers or something like that.
Start your own Instagram on the health foods you make the health drinks, take pictures of jump ropes u r about to use to do a jump rope exercise.... (Jumping rope is a great exercise!) and where you go for hikes take a picture here or there and switch up where you go.... Enjoy working out and getting in shape. And also enjoy having an Instagram or blog even with these fun little things (wanting to get these pictures for your site will make you get to that work out, get cooking health foods, and check out other aspects of health!)
But also know it takes awhile before people start following or checking out your site a lot! So spread the word!0 -
I am also glad you reached out. You should work hard to find professional help where you live so that you can get the support and advice that you need. Having an eating disorder is a dangerous thing!0
