How to celebrate mini goals?

I feel like I have so much to celebrate right now. I have just got over the 20 pound loss mark as of weigh in this morning. I tried on some pants today while at the store, just to see where I am because I usually wear bottoms that stretch so it's hard to tell what size I am, and I am officially back into 18's. I am back into the (high) 250's which is where I was four years ago. I am feeling better, physically and self confidence wise, than I think I ever have in my adult life. I feel like I have a lot to celebrate right now so I would like to get some ideas of how you celebrate when you hit a mini goal. I have thought about buying a new dress or something but hopefully it won't fit me for too long, lol, so I don't know if that seems like a smart thing to do.

I read a lot. So, every 10 pounds (since I have a lot to go) I get to buy a new book.0

Oh, I am so adopting this reward system. You could also do a spa/mani pedi day if you're into that.0 -
Buy yourself a treat like.. new makeup, free weights or some home equipment, accessories (purses, shoes, jewelry), get a mani/pedi, 1-hour massage, a pricey workout class you've been wanting to try, etc.0

Spa days all the way........... either at home if on a budget or actually at the spa. Soak your feet, give yourself or get a facial, enjoy a glass of wine while lounging in a bubble bath. I would hit the gym too and go into the sauna/arizona heat room and just chill back with a good magazine or something. Do everything to pamper your body for its hard work. I find water as a good pampering tool so definitely take a bubble bath or something like that........ if you have a pool I would go swimming and then lay out and tan with a good smelling sunscreen. Retail therapy isn't always the best therapy!0 -

I like these ideas. Five more pounds until I can get my roots dyed, and 15 more until I get some new nails.0 -
I am so going to a spa or at least getting a massage when I hit 50 pounds! I can't wait for it Makeup might be fun or I could dye my hair (yes, I am a natural pink, lol). I am not much of a reader but maybe I could go to the movies. Thanks ladies0

I'm a busy college student trying to break into a business in which I have no experience, so pick a series on Netflix I want to binge watch. I use an episode a day as a carrot and stick to get me exercising (i.e., no workout, no episode for the day) and if I hit a mini-goal, I take the evening off and watch as many episodes as I want.0

Something you enjoy that's not food related and not too expensive.0

You could do a volunteer session - offer to do a senior's nails with polish at a retirement home or give something to a foodbank... Makes you feel doubly good and is something positive for someone else as well! It's always fun to take a selection of nail polish with you & offer to do someone's fingernails. If you like to chat, that's usually a plus for them too. You might learn something interesting and they will have a lovely pampering experience.0

That Netflix idea sounds great!0

Love em!0 -
I typically buy something like a book, makeup or something related to exercise that I like or wanted and held off on getting. When I reach the halfway point of my weightloss, I'm going SKYDIVING0

When I hit targets I treat myself to new clothes, shoes and make-up.0

I just let myself take an evening of doing what I want (not skipping my workout), but if I want to be lazy and just read a book all evening, that is my reward. I am planning a spa day for when I hit my major goal, but until then I will be happy with my mini treats.0

I was really into big earring for a while. So, for every 5 lbs I lost, I purchased an inexpensive pair of new earrings. 10ish pairs later, I'm over it.
Come to think of it, I need a new reward....hm.0
