Last year for my new year's resolution I swore to myself to lose 45 lbs. And I busted my butt this last year. I even picked up running which is a HUGE feat for me. I lost 10 lbs at first and the inches were falling off of me and I was looking and feeling better than I had since before I was pregnant with my first kiddo. But I was on a med (Paxil) that once it's nice in good in your system can make you gain a BUNCH of weight. Most reporting a gain between 20-60 lbs! Luckily I only gained back that 10 lbs I had lost in the beginning.

Here I am, close to my year date of trying to lose that 45 lbs and I haven't lost anything. But I am 2 weeks off the meds now. I still have several more weeks to get through all the drug withdrawals from it ::shakes head:: But now when I exercise I feel like I have an actual fighting chance! By my 30th birthday in March I WILL HAVE LOST 20 LBS!!! No maybes or ifs, it's going to happen. By June it will ALL be gone. So, here it is, round two to a smaller/healthier me... without any interference of meds *sigh* :)
