1 kg = 2.2 lbs
1 lb = 3500 cals
so 1 kg = 2.2 * 3500 = 7500 cals

We burn 3500 calories to lose one lb.
A KG is 2.2 lbs.
Multiply 3500 X 2.2 = 7700 calories in 1 KG.
You might plan on losing about 1 KG every two weeks.

well... 1gr of fat contains 9 cal. So, does that not mean that 1000grams of fat (=1kg) would be equivilant to 9000 calories?0
