Eat 6 ounces of "sugar free" chocolate.. that will cleanse you.

Or a 5-pound bag of gummy bears!

You only need half a pound of the haribo sugar free gummy bears to have a good time ;)

But seriously the only thing a cleanse does is make you lose water quickly so you drop water weight. It does nothing to fat and there is no point.

It's entertaining to read the amazon reviews for those when bored!

To reiterate, cleanses are unnecessary and a waste of money.

just to echo this cutie, cleanses are unnecessary and a waste of money.

I've never done a "cleanse," and I suspect one of the reasons they seem to be so popular these days is that people like that virtuous feeling they get when they cut out the junk and "flush" their bodies.

You can still get that psychological rush by eating whole, healthy food and drinking lots of water, especially if you've been living on fast food and sugary snacks and drinks. Don't waste your money, and don't let the smartasses get you down. It's just that this topic is raised several times a week and MFP regulars are sick of it.

    Good luck.

I would just eat a bunch of Jalapenos. That'll cleanse you right up.

    Hahaha. Okay, okay, okay.

There is one valid use of a cleanse which is as a sort of ritual for psychological purposes to break with your 'old lifestyle' prior to embarking upon a new lifestyle.

This sort of ritual can be helpful for people, but again, not in a physical manner.

You could as simply embark upon the new lifestyle and save a little time, but hey, I would never slap the lucky undies out of someone's hands.
