Hi everyone ![:) :)](https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/resources/emoji/smile.png)
I swapped my weightwatchers membership for a gym one over a month ago. best move I made I think as I love going. BUT...I seem to be focusing a lot on cardio as opposed to weights. One of the reasons for this is that I am hopeless with weights, I am ashamed to admit that. I have no strength at all but I would like to work on it to help tone up. My gym is only a small sports centre so it doesn't have big fancy machines. It has a chest press machine, shoulder press one, leg press (i think) and a few weights. There are 2 others there but I have no idea what they are called (see, clueless lol). Any help as to what I could start out with??
Please feel free to add me, always looking to make new friends and get motivation on here (and a kick up the butt if needed)

Either work with a good trainer, or follow a good strength program. Two popular programs here are New Rules of Lifting for Women, and Stronglifts.0
