    That's kind of a lot of oil. Is there anyway to make this lower cal?

    Don't use oil...

    I can just set them in the dehydrator while fresh and they'll crisp up?

    we love kale chips around here. Even my kids love it. We also put it in a skillet and put in a can of diced tomatoes and some garlic and its yummy too. I can't keep enough kale in this house. lol

    I use the dehydrator, but mist the kale with a bit of olive oil cooking spray to keep the salt & garlic powder on. The chips without the spray tend to not get as crispy.
