Binge free buddy?

Hey! I'm new here and I thought it would be great to have a friend on here that would inspire me to keep with my goal at not binging. Maybe someone that struggles with the same thing? That way we Could be each others reason to keep at it
I've struggled with it for awhile and I'm trying to go down 5 pounds. For some reason I binge horribly on Peanut Butter. Since I still live with my parents and my mom loves PB, she buys it all the time. So keeping it out of the house is impossible. Anyways, does anyone have any tips? Thanks in advanced!

The biggest thing that helps me not to binge is not restricting myself. There is a definite correlation for me between cutting calories and the desire to binge. It's quite difficult to strike a balance between wanting to lose weight and wanting to have a healthy relationship with food. A small deficit helps. Filling up with protein, veggies and healthy fats helps (lots of high volume low calorie foods). Having a little bit of what you're craving each day can help (this probably needs to be in an enviroment where you can minimise the likelihood of binging. I keep a block of dark chocolate in the break room at work so I have to walk to get it, you could also try only eating when other people are around (if you binge alone) or only buying single servings of the food you want until you feel like you're able to control yourself).

I like the idea of eating only when people are around! Thanks for the advice
And yeah, I defiantly need to know the balance between losing weight and being healthy. I feel like sometimes I binge because I feel "too small" but then I feel big after a bad binge. It's frustrating to not know my true size!
