a pound a week is reasonable for most people. And weight fluctuates on a day-to-day basis, sometimes as much as a few pounds, It can take a little time for you to understand how your body responds to exercise and different combinations of nutrients.
A few days isn't near long enough.Just stay with it!0 -
Weight loosing will depend upon your effort of maintaining the diet and doing exercise. Please don't do some mistakes while you are dieting, like don't eat much or oily things when you are in dieting, avoid eating junk food, don't take any supplement, diet and pills to reduce the weight. Just eat less and do lots of exercise to reduce the weight fastly.0

I second this question kind of haa!
Everytime I have lost weight in the past it has been so much faster! Mind you I was 20 or so then and my metabolism has seriously slowed...
I would say I have lost 30ish pounds since January and that is with serious dedication. I have been pushing myself hard and seriously watching every calorie. A pound a week is only 52 lbs a year...and its hard to lose a pound a week consistenly!
It really depends on how much you weigh to start, the more you weigh the quicker you will lose weight if you really try.0 -

I have been on MFP for exactly 10 weeks and have lost 14lbs. I am only 5ft1 and MFP puts mypredicted weightloss at 0.9lbs a week on 1200 cals ( I exercise everyday and eat those cals, maybe not on the day but over the week.) So I have lost an average of 1.4lbs a week and am very happy I have not cut anything out and eat an ice cream or some chocolate everyday. This is so new to me, I usually low carb and yoyo! I know my loss will slow down soon. I am at the highest weight I have ever been still at 159lbs and started at 172lbs but I feel so much better I know getting to goal could take over a year but the fcat is you are feeling better all the time with every pound that comes off so it isn't the be all and end all to be at goal0
