Fitbit vs Bodybugg/Bodymedia

I am seriously considering a Bodybugg for multiple reasons -- the primary being I like numbers and I like to track stuff. I also like to know as I change my programs how efficient my body is becoming etc. As I was researching for the best price, I came across the Fitbit and it looks pretty cool too.
With the Bodybugg, I was not going to get the wrist display because I don't think I will need the instant gratifiction of knowing exactly how many calories I burn. The Bodybugg/Bodymedia device for version 3 (not smart phone compatible) average price is 159.00. The smartphone compatible new version is 249. The Fitbit is $99 and is a more descrete device.
So my question is does anyone have experience with the Fitbit and what are your opinions about it. Ideally if someone has knowledge about both that would be great. Thanks in advance for any insight.

There is a new Bodymedia coming out on Nov 15 that you can pre-order, that has bluetooth and it will sync to your iphone/smartphone and you can add your calories there. My cousin has the older version bodymedia and I am considering the new version of Bodymedia. I think it runs $249.0

Yes, that is the one I was looking at when I ran across the the Fitbit. I The bodymedia is for Ipod, Iphone, and Android. I am a blackberry kinda girl -- I could use it on my Ipod.0

I just recently got the fitbit because I heard about it on Fat2Fit Radio (www.fat2fitradio.com)
They're a really great podcast with some really smart ideas about weight loss and I've come to trust their advice, especially as it matches what I'm learning on MFP as well. So I thought I'd give it a whirl. They were comparing it to the BodyBugg I think and they seemed to prefer it over that a little.
If you check their latest podcast you'll see they mention the fitbit in that one.
I love my fitbit, so far it tells me I am burning more calories than I was estimating just based on my weight, etc But I haven't compared it to other products. It also monitors sleep patterns, which is neat
Good luck!0
