Anyone have a LifeTrak activity monitor watch?

So I just jogged for about 65 minutes and my LifeTrak told me I burned 816 calories. Does anyone possibly know how accurate LifeTrak wrist watches are? The calories burned seem a bit exaggerated but maybe I am burning that many calories? Does anyone have some information on these sort of watches? Thanks

I'm sorry I don't have an answer for you. I've been wondering the same thing! I weigh 221 lbs, and according to my LifeTrak monitor, I burn over 1000 calories doing 45 minutes on the elliptical. I've been Googling this device like crazy to find reviews telling me it's not accurate...but I haven't found any. I check my heart rate several times during a workout, and it's usually between 170-180 (my resting heart rate has always been high...between 88-98). If anyone has an answer for this, please let us know!

.63 * weight in pounds * distance in miles= net calories from running. A 200 lb person running nearly 6.5 miles would net around that caloric total. A body dysmorphic teen recovering from an ED .... not so much. It's over 8.5 miles for a 150 pound person ... over ten miles for a 125 pound person.
