Unfortunately, no that will not get rid of a muffin top. Spot reducing is a myth.

What will reduce a muffin top is loosing more fat via diet & cardio. The exercise on that video will help firm up the core muscles, but will not get rid of the muffin.
  • thank you for posting that .. Got tired of people thinking they can just excercise it away. diet is important and what i am working on now
any suggestions on where to go to follow a change in eatin to inhibit energy and lost weight without losing muscle mass.?

My website is www.muffintopnomore.com because I wanted to get rid of my muffin top! However, I agree with RVachon71. Spot reducing is a myth. You need a good mix of cardio and strength training and diet is a huge part of getting rid of the layer of fat that hangs on at our guts.
That said, someone told me a friend of hers hates hearing skinny people complain about their muffin tops when she is wearing the whole bakery! LOL I loved that one!

Right...this is not a spot reduction video. This is a strength training video. This would illustrate one particular exercise that will help your core. Of course this would be used in conjunction with the proper diet and over-all exercise program.

Loved the whole bakery line! One of my friends is a work-out king, he's totally cut. He's always said you can work out like a crazy man, but until you get your diet under control, you won't see the results. Being on this site has reinforced what he's always said. Since i've been watching my calories, the scales been going down!
