So I did c25k twice this year and I just ran my first 5k a weekish ago and I am ready to step it up! I am going to be running outside more and trying this program :

my question is...I have a weird schedule and I want to swap the Monday rest day for Tuesday's workout. is this a terrible idea? I realize the Monday rest day is really to offset the large weekend milage, it would just be nice to do the swap. opinions?

You can definitely swap the days around to do what works for you. You should try not to run two days in a row, to allow your body to rest in between, so you may have to swap around other days. Just figure out what works for you. I do shorter runs on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with my long runs on Saturdays, but depending on my schedule for the week, sometimes I have to make some shifts. Congrats on doing the C25K!! Good luck with your running future!!0
