Effective leg workouts for the lazy

Alright so not for the lazy but for those who very much dislike working on their legs. My lower body is resistant to looking/becoming toned and shedding body fat. At the same time, I find it hard to workout my legs because it's strenuous and painful for me. It makes it difficult to motivate myself to do them or to do any of the exercises for long periods of time.

Now I'm not saying I want to get results but not put in the work. I'm just asking about alternative workouts. Yes, I know squats work. Yes, I know 'lifting is the best omggg!!!111' especially doing squats with a barbell. I get it. I just don't want to do them . . . for now anyway.

Doing a traditional squat? Hell to the no. But 'run stance squat switch pickups'? I could do those all day long. It's not about the work - it's about the form I guess. So my question is can anyone recommend relatively effective leg workouts which I won't hate.

Currently I run, rollerblade and use gym machines to work on my legs.
