Does anyone know of any public obstacle courses in or near Dayton, Ohio? I'm wanting to do a Warrior Dash next year and I think it would be beneficial to go on an obstacle course. But I can't seem to find one.

I'm not in Ohio but I ran the Warrior Dash in Oregon this summer.

It was AWESOME!! The obstacles themselves weren't terrible. The way our run was set up it was all up hill (how that was possible as the course was a circle I couldn't tell you) that was probably the toughest part. I want to beat my time next year so I'm going to run a similar 5K obstacle course on Lewis-McChord (our military base). They open it up to the public a few times a year- you might want to check into that in your area. In the mean time I've just been running (up hill and up stairs) and strength training. I was thinking about having some fun at one of our local parks that has tires and things set up for the kiddies.

Good Luck and HAVE FUN it's a blast. BTW I totally recommend following up the race with well deserved beer and giant bbq'd turkey leg. :drinker:
