Haricot Verts

I just gotta say that if you like crunch in your food - eat haricot verts (fancy talk for green beans). I don't love regular green beans, but these are awesome. They are a thin very crisp bean, and I use them to replace french fries with turkey burgers or veggie burgers. I also like them with a piece of grilled salmon or even as a side with a veggie lasagna.
So if texture is your thing - like it is mine - give them a try!
I buy them frozen at Trader Joe's. They also have them at Whole Foods in the frozen foods. They are not expensive. I cook them in a fry pan with a small touch of grapeseed oil. I add a dash of salt. I've also added onion or onion powder to them in the pan too.
Enjoy!!
