Accountability?

How do many of you stay motivated? My weight has been on a steady climb for the last couple months, and I don't want to derail all of my progress.
One of the things that I'm doing is writing a weekly blog to "report" to my friends and family about where I'm at mentally and physically. It is really helping me to get back to good because I won't allow myself to think it isn't a problem. I'd love for you to check it out and to let me know what you think. http://heatherkmurphy83.wordpress.com/
Also, I'd love to hear what you do to keep from totally falling off the rails.

Personally, I just keep logging, good or bad. Seeing the numbers always helps me stay/get back on track.
ETA: Also, I pre-log daily, sometimes several days at a time, which really helps. Then I just have to eat what I have logged.0 -
I am feeling the same way. I started in December 2013 and managed to lose 30 pounds by April 2014. My weight loss was starting to slow down and I only had the last 10 to go. Because the results were getting much smaller, my tracking and working out was slowing down a bit due to lots of other things that took priority and two months later I have gained 5 pounds back. I am taking this as a lesson to get back into it. I know how to do it - I just need to get back into it!
We can do it! It's all mind over matter!0 -
I think about how I will look at the beach, in the mirror, to girls. I wanna be able to see some cuts and a six pack later since that will take a while to achieve. I am just tired of being overweight. I have been overweight more than half of my life.0

I log everything, good and bad. I also don't weigh myself (personal preference), so I look at success by how my clothes fit, how well my workouts are going, how I feel overall, and how I look in the mirror. When my pants start to get snug, I look at my diary and see why. 99% of the time, it's because I've been eating too much. I don't have the income to replace all of my clothes if I outgrow them, so that motivates me to stay in shape and keep an eye on my nutrition.0

I did something silly there was this dress in a size xxsmall for just $10 so I bought it, probably will never wear it but I sure look at it every morning.0

Honestly I'm doing this for myself, so I'm accountable to myself. I just refuse to let myself down.
It helps to have friends that support you and stuff, but at the end of the day it's me and my choices.0
