Today I hit the 10lbs lost mark. Things are going pretty well but I did have a one week stall but kept doing all my exercise and diet goals. This is after 24 full days of tracking everything and working out at the gym for 1.5 hrs 3 times a week. walking the other days for 35 min with my dog about 1.5 miles each day. I am eating 1560 +50-75% of my exercise calories
burned.
I am having some trouble accurately calculating my gym workout calories burned. I currently am doing 10 min cardio on an exercise bike to warm up for my strength training then 10 sets of 3 on various machines (full body workout) with about 30 sec between reps and about 2 min between machine.this takes me about 35 min or so and then I do 20min on a tread mill averaging 3 mph increasing the incline for about 3 min a couple of times. I check my heart rate and it usually is in the 125 to 135 range during the time on the treadmill which is supposed to be pretty ideal for my age (60) according to the gym trainer. All told it seems to average about 350 + calories per session. Does this sound about right ?
feed back is welcome and desired
