Keeping motivated- help needed

I need help staying motivated. I use stress (which I seem to have a lot of and boredom) as excuses. I would like to lose about 20 lbs. I work fulltime and by the time I pick my son up , get home and fix dinner I am beat. Not an early morning person either. I have a bad addiction to Mt Dew which I have been trying to slow down on. I try to walk on breaks at work sometimes. But dont really have a great support system around me. I am up for any suggestions and friends that can support me.
Thanks
Robin

First thing I suggest is to switch to Diet Dew and at least avoid the empty calories. I know many are against diet soda, but we each have our vices. My name is Staci, and I love soda. Coke Zero is my drink of choice.
Second, once you start being more active it will help with your energy levels. Try to keep that in mind. For the fitness side of things, walk in place a few minutes here & there during the day. Moving more is better than moving less.
Weight loss is mostly about how much you eat. Make smart substitutions (mustard instead of mayo, 2% instead of whole, etc.) and limit portions on calorie-heavy items. Pick one goal to get you started, whether its drinking more water or eating more veggies. And go from there.0
