Hi everyone. I am Reagan. I am new-ish to this website. I have been logging my work-outs and food, but I havent really made friends, or enjoyed the community aspect to this site. I'm here to introduce myself and ask for friends!! I need some motivation and love to give it in return.
About me - I am 30, female, about 5'7, started at anywhere from 145-152 lbs. Sounds good, right? WRONG. I have zero muscle and just this tire of fat around my tummy/muffin top section. I am already down to 136 lbs, which honestly I think would be perfect for someone my height, but my lack of any sort of muscle makes my number way lower than my "looks". (I am a size 10 waist at my current 136).
RIght now I have been doing cardio - usually 2 miles, which for me is 20 minutes on the treadmill, then a "JIllian Michaels 20 minute Shred" workout, which incorporates weights. I am super weak, and definitely dont mind adding weight to the scale as long as its muscle weight and not fat weight. I'm hoping to meet some friends on here who can share their weight loss journey and mutually motivate. My rant is over! Thanks!

    Hi Reagan,

I'm also new to this website, only been here for less than 48 hours.

    I'm 25, male, 173cm which is about 5'8" I suppose? Currently weighing in at 84kg (185lbs).

My weight for the past 5 years have been hovering around 85kg to 87kg, I went for a full right knee reconstruction in late 2012 and my weight shot up to close to 100kg, mostly due to staying at home and just eating away.

To me, my goal is to cut my weight down to 65kg and from there, start to pump up muscle.

I have been through Garcinia Cambogia (both powder version and pills) in 2013. Not much result.

I play a high intensity sports for the past 10+ years but those calories burnt were replaced by the late night supper and beer after the trainings =)

Just recently I bought Cytosport Muscle Milk to consume as meal replacement, replacing 2 meals, breakfast and dinner per day. Cleared that out in slightly over a week. Enjoyed it before and after sports, woke up the next day with less aching muscle.

I'm finishing up another meal replacement powder UNI-SYN by Universal Nutrition.

I bought the UNI-SYN with Magnum Heat which is to increase the metabolic rate in the body and have been taking it twice a day, before breakfast and lunch.

These days I have been on the stationary bike and elliptical machine for a total of 30 min hitting about 75-80% target heart rate.
I'm now trying to find a affordable heart rate monitor to properly track those exercise.

    Cheers!

Thanks for your reply. Good luck to you. To be 100% honest, I am not really looking to lose weight on shakes, or protein powders. I think that's a great jump-start for some people, but FOR ME (I stress that, because I cant talk for anyone else), I just want to learn how to eat more naturally and be more active. I'd be lying if I said I didnt wanna lose eight fast, but right now my goal is to train my brain into enjoy working out in the morning and having 5 healthy snack/meals a day. Who's with me?
