i have recently got back from a 2 week holiday to greece and the day i returned i had gained 10lb but i assumed most of that would be water weight..
however it just doesn't seem to be budging, despite the fact i have started the gym again and have been eating as i would when normally losing weight.
has anybody got any help or answers?

If it helps my experience was gaining 9lbs in 8 days holiday - but as far as I could tell only 1lb was fat.
This rest was just temporary bloating which went over the course of a week eating at a small deficit and back in my normal routine.

10lb of fat gain would require an epic amount of over-eating in two weeks!0 -
haha i thought it was abit much but it makes me think its not temporary bloat as it doesn't seem to be going anywhere0

how long has it been since you got back? stick to your normal routine for 3-4 weeks, it'll come off.0 -
its only been a week and two days, but i got my hopes up after reading many posts about water weight coming off in a week or so0

It might be an idea to track sodium for a while at least and watch for other causes of water retention/bloating (alcohol is one of mine).0 -
