My baby is 8 weeks old and I am nursing and trying to lose weight. Any other new moms out there that can be encouraging. I am unsure of how many extra calories to eat. I am also running 3 times a week as well.

I am a nursing mom and your baby will eat about 500 calories of milk each day from you. I've read that if you're nursing you should keep your calories between 1800-2300 depending on your height and weight. Just don't compromise your milk supply. My baby started getting super fussy when I dropped my calories below 2100. She wasn't getting enough milk. Now I make sure to eat at least 2300 and she is happy.0
