how do you log barre (barreworks, pure barre, etc)? would that be circuit? i dont have a heart monitor and im too cheap to buy one.... not a student but student debt makes me live like one.

    Save your money - HRMs are designed for steady state cardio

    Most barre DVDs would be strength training...to get a calorie estimate log under cardio - strength

    Circuit training is a combination of cardio & strength - I'm sure there are barre workouts that incorporate cardio....but not most.

    Fitness Blender gives estimates on their website...perhaps you can get some idea there.
