Just saw this published in Medical News today. Following this study's recommendation will have you switch to plant protein and reduce its intake significantly.

Would that even work well anymore for all the lifting many of us do?

Any counter thoughts or studies?

Does anyone else ever have a deeply cynical voice that pops up and says, Listen, you idiot, they're killing us. All the pesticides, herbicides, ground level ozone, particulate this and preservative that, we're all going to suffer more and die younger, and all this health food stuff and change this macro or change that one is just a bunch of utter crap?

I read all "studies" with a grain of salt. We still know very little about how the body works, and so many things that were once deemed unhealthy, are now "healthy", and vice versa. I just use common sense, as much diverse knowledge as possible, and personal preference/experience to determine what I consume. Besides, we're all gonna die someday, right? Quality of life matters much more than quantity, for me.

Seems to me this is a covert "eat a vegetarian diet" study.
