All I can say is you just have to push past the tiredness and make yourself move, tired or not. I have done that, by just walking every day for 30 minutes. I made myself do it. I would walk on my lunch hour. I would be walking and yawning at the same time, but I was persistant! After a few weeks, I was not so tired and then able to add three classes (kickboxing, total body fitness, and step aerobics) with the walking 30 minutes every single day.

I can tell you that my energy level has increased tremendously since forcing myself to move just that little bit of 30 minutes a day. I have more energy to clean the house, able to tackle tasks I put off because I was too tired!

So push through it and before too long your body will become adjusted and you will be energized.

    Good Luck with it!

I do a am devotional as well so I'll state the obvious, go to bed earlier. Working out always livens me up but at the time I worked out at night. I tried eating more fruits, taking a walk after the devotional, getting more sun at lunch, cutting down carbs so I wouldn't feel sluggish, breathing in through my nose and out through my mouth on every hour, afternoon stretches, but nothing really worked. When I finally went to bed 30 minutes earlier I was fine.

Thanks. I know the going to bed earlier is the answer, but that is the only "me" time I get. I homeschool, so when I get kids up in the morning, I have the kids with me 24/7 until they go to bed. But I might just have to go to bed when they do or close to it.

Here's a suggestion....have recess with the kids! Get outside and move! Take a 15-20 minute walk at recess. Play kick ball, run laps, anything to move. Kids need a break and they also need exercise too. Good for the whole family.
