Which heart rate monitor is better from the two below:

Polar FT7 Heart Rate Monitor or Polar FT4 Heart Rate Monitor?

They're basically the same thing save for the FT7 has a couple more functions that you may or may not need...otherwise they are pretty much the same. I have an FT4 and it is sufficient for my needs.

I have an RS100, but would go for the FT4 next time because of this ^^^

thank you ... i'm torn between the two lol I believe there is only one thing different ... the FT7 tells you if the main effect of your training is fitness improvement or fat burning and i'm not sure if its all that important or not. I never owned a heart rate monitor ... so i wouldn't know.

the RS100 is $200... i can't afford that. the other two are between $60-$70
