Running shoes for high arch

I want to start running and I need to buy shoes. I have high arches and I never feel like any regular shoes give me enough support. Can anyone recommend a running shoe for high arches?

    Probably Saucony.

Go to a specialty running store and have them fit you - not Nike or the multi-brand stores. Around me there is a store called west side runners or something like that. Everyone who works there is a runner and knows the brands.

I have very high arches and stiff little feet. The best shoe brand for me is Salomon. They are expensive but worth every penny (says the graduate student who can only work part-time. . . that's how much I like the shoes). I had not encountered shoes that didn't make my feet hurt until I tried Salomon trail-running shoes.

Superfeet! The green ones. You can put them in any shoe. I have high arches and haven't had any foot issues at all since I started using them (1/2 marathons, HIIT, anything). I do prefer New Balance or Saucony. New Balance is made in the USA if that matters to you.

I second going to a runners store and getting fitted. I have the barefoot Merrells and I am in LOVE with them.
