Below BMR?

Can you eat below BMR or should your minimum caloric intake be your BMR? I don't understand..
My bmr is 1321 so is that the minimum I need to eat? I'm at a healthy weight with only 5-10 lbs to lose for confidence.

You should always eat at least your BMR. If you only have 5-10 vanity lbs to lose, your goal should be to lose .5 lbs a week.0

MFP uses 1200 as a floor, not BMR. The common belief here that using shallow deficits preserves lean body mass is a bit overblown but if you have the patience to spend the next 6 months tracking every bite to lose 10 lbs., that's certainly a valid choice. So is using the MFP plan as it was designed, though.0
