almost half way there

Hi everybody. I hope everyone is feeling as good as I am today. Today I am 1lb away to reaching half of my goal. In the beginning of May I realized my scale was starting to go in the wrong direction! Was it time to get a new scale? Was it broken? No I was broken. I had a baby almost 3years ago, gained more weight than I should have, and totally didn't care about excercise or what and how much I was eating. I was depressed. I had lost some of the weight but was still in the unhealthy range and then that scale of mine was lying!
Well back to May. Summer is here. I have a beach vacation coming up in september. The thought of the summer sun and wearing a bathing suit sickened me. Why did I plan this beach trip anyway? I had to snap out of it and I feel that I have. So I decided to actually pay attention to my eating and actually excercise. I know I almost dont believe it- excercise. In mid-may I joined mfp. I'm being the most accountable of my food choices I have ever been in my whole life and am enjoying excercise. Can I say I'm jumping for joy for excercise everyday? No but seeing myself getcloser to reaching my goal sure helps. I have found that I really enjoy walking something I had forgotten. I walk, I ride my excercise bike, I use WII Fit and love Just Dance. I am feeling better.
Most of all I am excited. Excited to be on my way to healthy. I am also 4lbs away to being in my healthy range. I haven't been there in 5 years. I hope in writing this that maybe someone needing a little motivation will see its possible to reach your goals.

    Sounds awesome. Congratulations. I'm sure with this attitude, you will have the best beach vacation!
