It's time for me to make a big change.

Hello,

My name is Dewdrop_Rose, I'm 4 foot 11 and I weight 188 pounds. I'm a housewife with one son.

Due to unhealthy habits I've been putting on weight since I was a teenager. My portions are too big and I binge on chocolate.

I had one successful attempt at loosing weight in the past and lost more then half a stone over a sensible period of time. Unfortunately I was doing something wrong because I became severely mineral and vitamin deprived until my hair started to fall out.

I've floundered since then and also had a baby which is lovely but doesn't help on the weight front!

I now face two challenges - firstly working out what meals I can cook that allow me to stick to my new calorie limit whilst also feeding my family. Secondly I need to deal with my emotional dependence on food which has lead to my nightly chocolate binges.

I've just ordered a calorie counting book and a book on emotional eating - so fingers crossed.
