Blackberries..frozen?

There's a store near me that's having a really good sale next week on blackberries. I'd love to freeze some so I could have some in the middle of winter
Can they be frozen?

Yup they can... but they take in some water when they dethaw... I used to freeze blackberries and eat them as a snack..0

I go blackberry picking in UK around the New Forest and I freeze mine, they are fine.
just leave out for a couple of hours to defrost. or i have put them in the oven when frozen with some raw apples and baked.0 -

When you freeze them you need to make sure you don't wash them and freeze them on a cookie sheet so the won't be stuck together.0
