Right now I'm 5'4" and 120 lbs. I started off at around 130 about 2 months ago (I've been pretty slow to lose weight) and I just can't seem to get past 120--I've been here for a few weeks. I have had a few days where I binged due to parties and my birthday and whatnot, but I don't know why I am struggling to get past this point. I am usually a little below my 1,200 calorie daily goal, and slightly below all of the subcategory nutrition groups. I run about 3-8 miles a day, 4-5 days a week and do strength training. On the days I run I usually eat around 1,200 calories. Anyways, any tips for getting lower than 120? I only want to lose about 5 more pounds.

Ten pounds in 2 months isn't slow at all. And at your height, 120 is a very good weight. How much more were you trying to lose?

ETA: Sorry, you already answered that. Your calorie intake is very low, especially for your activity level. You might try increasing your calories to where you only have a 500 calorie deficit from what you're burning each day.

    Do you weigh your food?
Do you use a HRM to determine your calories burned during runs?

No, to both of those...thanks for the suggestions! I don't often have more than a 500 calorie deficit, but I could try keeping that more in check.

See a doctor? I mean, not only 120 lbs is very good for your height, but if you're eating only 1200 calories and running 3-8 miles a day, you're starving yourself.

Maybe your body is happy at the weight it's at? You're at a healthy weight for your height right now :)

    Congratulations on what you've lost!

At your already low weight, the best you can go for is about .5 lb a week.

Which is a deficit of 250 calories a day.

Which doesn't give you much wiggle room in terms of CICO.

Weigh your food, and don't eat out for a week or two (even at restaurants that post their calorie counts -- these are WRONG WRONG WRONG).

You are starving yourself with your current intake/energy output. Slow down a bit and concentrate on the calories in part of the equation.
