I need to ask.. I see this all the time.. and I pretend I know what it is.. even though there is no one watching to even care if I don't know what it is.. but the time has come (the walrus said) to find out what it is...

What does it mean when people say "bump"??

People "bump" a topic to refresh it so that people will see it. More recently posted topics will appear at the top on the forums. They also do it so that it is on their list of topics in their profile so they can access it easier for future reference. :)

If it's a thread they want to follow up on it will add it to their "My Topics" so it's easier to find. It will also move the thead up in the recent post listing if you want more people to see it.

  • Or instead of "bump" you can do TTT for "To The Top".

And on another note...I love The walrus and the carpenter. It must be my favourite poem ever.
